Case study

We understand that the best work is delivered through close relationships with clients. By really getting to know you, your challenges and your audiences, we can apply our creativity to your specific circumstances.

BSA Ahmad Bin Hezeem & Associates LLP

Time for change. BSA is a respected firm with a rich history in the Middle East. It is also progressive and, having undergone recent changes, it felt that a visual identity review was timely. Epigram assessed the firm’s brand collateral and that of its closest competitors to identify strengths and weaknesses.

Cultural inspiration. Consultation with key stakeholders confirmed that the firm’s reputation and expertise in the region was a key asset. We helped to capture this message in three words; ‘Intuitive, Entrepreneurial Law’. We drew creative inspiration from the rich and diversified Arabic culture and created a range of visual approaches and colour palettes.

A dynamic identity. ‘Refreshed evolution’ was the working title we gave to this chosen approach. Black and white photographic imagery was retained but given a new lease of life when juxtaposed with vibrant colour and organic shapes – inspired by Arabic calligraphy.

Website overhaul. A forward looking firm needs a responsive website that can evolve with technology. We recreated the structure of the existing site using the latest coding techniques and a WordPress platform to make internal site administration a straightforward process. Simple applications of the new identity were added to give it a refreshed look and feel.

Refreshed evolution. Visual identity guidelines were written and a library of distinctive assets created. The refreshed identity was applied to a wide range of marketing collateral which included print and digital media.
